The Cheltenham Festival may be the UK’s top jumps racing meeting but the best Australian bookies also have great odds and offers. Check out our top Cheltenham Festival betting tips ahead of the action.
We have predictions for each of the top championship contests, including the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup, as well as picks and analysis of some of the other main races.
Cheltenham Festival 2024 – Big Race Predictions
The Cheltenham Festival takes place over four days and each day has one championship race. There are a host of other top-class contests for horses as well, but these races are the pinnacle of the sport and take centre stage across the whole meeting.
The famous Gold Cup is the race for the best staying chasers in training, while the Champion Chase is for the best over 2m. The best 2m hurdlers will contest the Champion Hurdle and the best staying hurdlers will to battle in the Stayers’ Hurdle.
Check out our predictions for each of the showpiece events. We have tried to highlight a mix of short and longer-priced selections. Click on the green info button to see our picks for each day. We will also highlight other horses that could make the frame if we think it is necessary. Bet365 has the most Cheltenham Festival futures, which is why we have used them here.

Cheltenham Festival Tips – Other Races
As we have said, as well as the showpiece event of each day, there are also a host of other races to bet on with the best horse racing bookies. These range from races for novice hurdlers over different distances to cross-country chases and a range of handicaps.
Let us highlight a few other horses to consider for some of these other contests. We will highlight the best price we can find with our recommended bookies, a list of which follows in the next section.
Grey Dawning in the Brown Advisory
Dan Skelton’s Grey Dawning looks an interesting bet in the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase. His recent win at Warwick ahead of the talented mare Apple Away looks strong form and he jumped well that day to record a 14-length success. It appears there is more improvement in the Flemensfirth gelding as the season progresses.

Readin Tommy Wrong for the Albert Bartlett
We like the look of Readin Tommy Wrong in the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle over three miles on the last day of the meeting. The Willie Mullins-trained six-yer-old continued his perfect start to life under rules when getting the better of stablemate Ile Atlantique at Naas in January. He stayed all the way to the line that day and stepping up to three miles here doesn’t look an issue. He is also entered in the 2.5m Baring Bingham Novices’ Hurdle so we advice backing him NRNB at $7.00 with bet365

Minella Indo in the Cross Country
Former Gold Cup winner Minella Indo can taste Cheltenham Festival glory once again after the popular 11-year-old switched to the cross country fences. His cross country run to finish fourth at the track back in December was eye-catching considering the weight he had to give away to his rivals. With this race being off level weights it means a repeat would put him right in the mix for victory.
