Spur to Win and Both Teams to Score

Spurs are in flying form at the moment and are a real threat at home with James Maddison and Heung-Min Son linking up in devastating fashion. They also have an element of control to their play under Postecoglu that could see them get the better of a Chelsea side potentially low in confidence. However, Chelsea have been creating plenty of chances so far this season even during defeats. Backing both teams to score but Spur to come out on top looks good value at 4.00 with bet365.

James Maddison to Make an Assist

James Maddison has been involved in many of Spurs’ goal already this season but it is his assist rate that has been most impressive, often finding Son to provide the finish in open play but also when taking plenty of set-pieces for his side. He has four assists in his last five games and it would be no surprise to see him add to that tally here. His price to get over 0.5 assists is 3.75 with bet365.

Udogie to Score Anytime

In the system Spurs play under Postecoglu, defender Destiny Udogie is getting into dangerous positions in the final third and loves to make runs into the box. He already has a couple of assists to his name and it could be worth a bet on him bagging his first EPL goal against Chelsea. This is a long shot but if Chelsea’s wide attackers aren’t disciplined enough to prevent an overload down their right-hand side then opportunities could be there for the adventurous left-back. Backing an assist for Udogie might also be considered.

Tottenham vs Chelsea – Match Preview

Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England

When: Tuesday, 7 November, 2023

Start time: 7.00am

Form Guide: Spurs have had an impressive start to the EPL season under Postecoglu and maintained their unbeaten run with victory over Crystal Palace last weekend. Chelsea, however, have had a stuttering start and have struggled to find their ruthless streak in front of goal. They suffered a home defeat to Brentford last weekend and will have to bounce back quickly from that set-back.

Head-to-Head Record: Chelsea’s recent record against Spurs is good, winning four of the last six meetings. However, they were unable to record a win last season over their London rivals and it was Spurs that claimed victory in the last meeting.
