Kambosos vs Wyllie Betting Preview
George Kambosos Jr (21-3 – 10 KOs) will begin life at super lightweight with a clash against Australian champion Jake Wyllie (16-1 – 15 KOs).
This is the first fight for Kambosos since being stopped by Vasyl Lomachenko when battling for the vacant IBF and IBO lightweight titles. His only other losses have come in world title clashes with Devin Haney in 2022.
He now moves up to super lightweight and will start by testing himself against the dangerous Wyllie. The 24-year-old Queensland fighter will be looking to spoil the Kambosos homecoming party after stepping in a late notice to replace Daud Yordan. The 37-year-old Indonesian pulled out under a week before this contest on medical grounds.
Wyllie now has the chance to make a name for himself at a higher level after being handed the chance to fight Kambosos.
The main support will see WBC women’s world featherweight champion Skye Nicolson (12-0 – 1 KO) taking on undefeated, mandatory challenger Tiara Brown (18-0 – 11 KOs).
