George Kambosos Jr (21-3 – 10 KOs) will begin life at super lightweight with a clash against tough Indonesian Daud Yordan (43-4 – 31KOs).
This is a first fight for Kambosos since being stopped by Vasyl Lomachenko when battling for the vacant IBF and IBO lightweight titles. His only other losses have come in world title clashes with Devin Haney in 2022.
He now moves up to super lightweight and will start by testing himself against Yordan. The 37-year-old has only been stopped once in 43 fights. He has called up a run of five successive stoppage wins since a unanimous points loss to Anthony Crolla back in 2018. He is a tough competitor but Kambosos should prove a level above if he has designs on making waves in this division.
